Several opportunities to learn and grow are available at Newton First United Methodist Church.
Children
Kids' J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) is a Sunday morning Christian education experience for pre-school and elementary age children. The classes use a variety of methods to teach the lesson each week. Classes meet from 10:00 to 10:50 a.m.
Youth
Middle school and high school youth meet on Wednesday evenings 6:30-8:00 in the Activity room on the third floor.
Adults
For adults small groups provide a setting for spiritual formation, learning, fellowship, mutual encouragement and support. Groups are available that meet on different evenings of the week. For information about current small group opportunities e-mail Roy Pumphrey, Executive Minister.
Sunday School classes for adults meet on Sunday mornings. The Dubble Builders class meets from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Ages & Stages class meets from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Three United Methodist Women Circles meet on the second Wednesday of each month.
Periodically, short term class for adults will be held for on Wednesday evenings 6:30 to 7:30. Presently, Roy Pumphrey is leading a class on "The Good and Beautiful Life."
